If there is anyone who would have voted for Hillary Clinton that now states that they're voting for McCain because of Sarah Palin, I would be dumbfounded.
Why did GOP Presidential Candidate, John McCain pick Governor Sarah Palin of Alaska as his running mate? Well her speech tonight clarified things in my mind.
As Alan Greenspan would say it's largely about the oil. Watching her speech this evening I could not help but notice how many references she made to oil, drilling, and energy. Sarah Palin may be the new face in GOP national politics but tonight she reminded me of a younger version of Dick Cheney in a skirt.
Giving credit where credit is due, Sarah Palin can deliver a speech and she can be John McCain's political attack dog in the grand tradition of GOP politics. Palin and her speech writers did a masterful job of picking up on all of the criticisms hurled at Obama during the Democratic primary.
One thing is sure, you don't have to worry about feeling sorry for Sarah Palin.
