On April 30, 2007 the FDA will close the public comment period on a "Guidance" which will classify every alternative practice as medicine so that only licensed physicians can carry out the procedure AND vitamins, minerals, herbs, etc., will suddenly become "untested drugs" which will be forbidden.

Dear Friends,

There was a time when men and women ( especially women) were labeled as witches, workers of iniquity, or in league with the devil simply for practicing herbal medicine. Yes, simply posessing a knowledge of the curative use of herbs, berries, barks etc. could get an individual excommuncated, tortured or even burned at the stake. Worse yet, many people died from treatments like blood letting and leeches that might have otherwise lived.

Barbaric, right?

Why did this happen? It happened because those that practiced herbal medicine went against the medical establishment of their time.

Today there are no witch hunts or inquisitions but the pharmaceutical and insurance industries want to take away your right and access to alternative medicine. They would rather have you purchase outrageously expensive prescription drugs with numerous side effects than try alternative treatments that have been used for thousands of years.
